Academic Affairs Council

Present: Lynette Carlson, Bill Gear, Faye Maas, Jackie Millslagle.

Excused: Julia Williams

1. Moved to approved the minor course change proposal adding Internet-Delivered as a delivery mode. Approved.

2. A brief additional discussion about the delivery mode proposal. Jackie reported the conversation with GPC, and a request by UEA to meet about online education. Also, Linda Rolfe send an inquiry to enterprise staff at Twin Cities about partially-internet-based and received the following tentative definition: "....any course that uses e-mail or Web for teaching some portion of the class." The Council decided to defer action at this time. Jackie will report back on other anticipated conversations in the coming weeks.

3. Cancelled the December 6 meeting. Jackie will ask for schedules to set spring meeting dates.
