Present: Lloyd, Loven, Gilbertson, Glisczinski, Millslagle.

1. Distributed for information: a report of Graduation Honors. Based on cumulataive UMD gpa for the 275 graduates in 2000-2001, and aiming at the 3% summa, 5% magna, 3% cum laude guidelines, minimum gpa for honors for 2001-2002 (fall, spring, summer) have been set as follows:

• Cum laude 3.60
• Magna cum laude 3.75
• Summa cum laude 3.90

2. Distributed for information the minutes of the Graduate Program Council.

3. A Student Academic Complaints procedure was drafted. Committee members will review and affirm before it is forwaarded to GPC for action.

4. The December 14 meeting was cancelled. Meetings will resume in early February. A replacement for Faith Loven will be requested by the Department.
