Subcommittee on International Education
The Subcommittee on International Education shall consider international educational policies and priorities of the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD).
The Subcommittee on International Education shall study, report on, and make policy recommendations that will facilitate and foster all aspects of international education at UMD.
The specific activities subject to subcommittee policy review and recommendation include (but are not limited to) international students at UMD, UMD students abroad, study abroad programs, faculty/staff/student exchanges, and international and domestic inter institutional cooperation as it relates to international education. The subcommittee shall facilitate communications, support, and awareness of international research and grant opportunities.
The subcommittee will review, on a regular basis, the administrative structure of UMD as it relates to international education. The committee shall review, analyze, and comment upon the impact which administrative structure has, both positively and negatively, on the operation of international programs at UMD.
Review results and policy recommendations shall advance to the EPC for review, action or forwarding, as appropriate, to other committees or the administration.
