About Lindsey

Hello!  I grew up on the Iron Range and attended school in Eveleth.  I then attended Mesabi Community College where I received my A.A. degree.  After a short time at the U of M, in the Twin Cities, I realized I really appreciated the smaller college setting and moved to Duluth.  I graduated from college at the University of Wisconsin, Superior with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education.  I love Duluth and try to take advantage of all this city has to offer.  What a great place to live and play with my niece!

I’ve worked as a preschool teacher at University Children’s Learning Center in Superior and for three years at Fond du Lac Early Head Start.  At Early Head Start I worked with infants, toddlers, and early 3’s.  I have spent many hours involved in Literacy, Transition, and Playground committees, and love to be involved in “big picture” planning in early childhood education.
