About Meghan

My name is Meghan Caine and I am an Educator in the Infant Room. I am very passionate about the growth and development of infants, and greatly enjoy my days in the Infant Room.

I graduated from UMD in 2004 with a major in Early Childhood Studies and a minor in French. I studied abroad in France as a sophomore, and student taught in Cameroon, Africa as a senior. My experiences abroad have opened my eyes to the world around me; I am so interested in learning about the different cultures that touch our lives.

I have experience working in toddler and preschool classrooms as well as with Infants.  I was a lead Infant Teacher at a childcare in Duluth for one year before coming to Children's Place. I am also an employee of Concordia Language Villages, teaching in their French immersion language program.

I am originally from Bemidji, Minnesota; my parents still live there. I have one younger sister who is attending grad school at Berkley. I am thrilled to be living in Duluth, experiencing all that this city has to offer.  I recently got married to my wonderful husband, Ben and we are living in our newly purchased home!
