Collegiate Graduate Programs

The Master of Education and Master of Special Education degrees are awarded by the College of Education and Human Service Professions at the University of Minnesota Duluth.

The Master of Education Cohort Program - a professional development degree for educators and other human service professionals

The Master of Education in Environmental Education - designed to develop advanced practitioners in environmental education

The Master of Special Education - a three-year summer cohort program for the professional develoment of licensed special educators

In addition, the following programs are delivered by CEHSP faculty, with degrees are awarded by the University of Minnesota Graduate School.  Graduate School policies apply to students in these programs. 

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) with major in teaching and learning, a professionsal development degree designed to produce scholarly practitioners.

The Master of Arts in Communication Sciences Disorders prepares students to work in a variety of professional settings and to meet the challenges of serving individuals with diverse communication impairments.

The Master of Social Work prepares students for "advanced generalist" practice including working directly with clients in a range of social services settings, administration, and community development activities.
