APA Resources
There are many online resources that offer help with APA formatting - when using any online resources, be sure it is updated and consistent with the 6th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
- www.apastyle.org is the APA's website and offers periodic updates especially relevant for citing web sources.
- http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/research/r_apa.html is a very user-friendly and consistent online writing lab that paralelles with the 6th edition APA manual.

- Lesley University APA guide is an APA online manual. It provides guidelines, formatting, examples, and how to make bibliographies.
General Writing Guidance
Human Subjects Application
The link below is where you will find the Request For Approval For The Use of Human Subjects In Research forms. The form that you mostly likely will use for an M.Ed. study is the Exempt Screening Application Form, which is one of the links in the IRB website. You will also need a Consent Form; the template is found under Consent Process and Forms: For Social and Behavioral Science Studies. In most cases you will also need a letter from someone in authority in the organization where you're conducting your study...this letter should state that you have permission to conduct your study; it should be on the organization's letterhead, and be signed. The original of this letter will accompany your application.
