Why declare a minor? Students who complete academic coursework to fulfill degree requirements for a minor broaden their knowledge and skills, which leads to expanded professional opportunities and graduate school admission. Students should work with an advisor within the department that houses the minor to verify admission and degree requirements.
This worksheet is an advising tool. It is updated as needed to reflect the most current information about the program. Changes in this worksheet may or may not affect students already in the program; ask your advisor how changes affect you.
