Welcome New and returning members.  Copies of “Learning Guidelines” from Dr. Kathy Obear were shared with the group as a reminder and onboarding for new members. Penny Cragun, Emily Norenberg and Dr. Erwin discussed two issues with respect to accessibility: a) Web site, b) Course materials and the need to look through the lens of inclusivity. They recommend UMD Task Force and the Chancellor agreed to create one based on their recommendation. Tim Caskey shared a draft of the employee exit interview. Leadership Team members will send feedback to Tim Caskey by next meeting. Dr. Pedersen and Susana Pelayo-Woodward shared highlights from the Unit Change Teams. Unit Change Teams Grant applications will be shared with Leadership Team. Dr. Pedersen shared that a team of six trainers from UMD spent a day with the system Office of Equity and Diversity in a train the trainers.  It was approved to have the Director of Office of Cultural Diversity and Director of American Indian Learning Resource Center members of the Campus Climate Leadership Team.
