UMD engineering earns national ranking

The University of Minnesota Duluth scored some high marks in the most recent issue of U.S. News and World Report’s Annual “America’s Best Colleges” rankings.
UMD’s Department of Chemical Engineering was ranked fifth nationwide for Best Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Programs.
Its Engineering Program placed 38th in the nation for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs.
Both rankings are among public and private institutions.
UMD ranked 10th among Top Midwest Public Universities with master’s programs. The school tied for 50th place overall among Midwest universities with master’s programs.
