Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) and Ethics

According to the National Science Foundation, "for a scientist, integrity embodies above all the individual’s commitment to intellectual honesty and personal responsibility" and "trust and honesty are the cornerstones of science." In accordance with the UMD strategic Plan, the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry expect the highest level of integrity, RCR and ethical standards from its faculty, students and staff alike.
