Summer Undergraduate Research ProgramsThe Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) involves undergraduate students in research with faculty and graduate students. A wide variety of research programs, each under the direction of a member of the Chemistry graduate faculty, are pursued by SURP students in the areas of analytical, biochemistry, biogeochemistry, bioinorganic, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry. The program runs ten weeks. Social activities are included. Students present their projects, progress and results at a post session during the last week of the program.
