A winter snowstorm decorates the Swenson Civil Engineering Building

The Civil Engineering building houses state-of-the-art classroom and laboratory facilities. Some of the highlights include:

Labs in every focus area for hands-on training and student projects

  • Structural strong floor and reaction wall with 2-15 ton gantry cranes
  • Extensive high bay area
  • Hydraulic lab with large-scale flume
  • Construction materials lab
  • Geomaterials lab (soil and rock testing)
  • Parts fabrication lab
