Information for Prospective Students

The Department of Civil Engineering has a degree program leading to a BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering). Students enter their first year at UMD with an introductory course in Civil Engineering (CE 1025) where they are exposed to the different areas of concentration within Civil Engineering as well as an introduction to concepts that affect all areas of engineering in today's world (globalization, ethics, professionalism).
