Research

Each of the UMD Civil Engineering faculty are active in research and professional activities in their focus areas. Undergraduate students have opportunities to work with faculty on research through several different mechanisms including the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).

Special opportunities are available for post-doctoral researchers and as well as Master of Engineering students.
