Camille is an English and Political Science double major with an accompanying minor in Economics. She will be graduating in December 2012 and plans to pursue a career in law afterward. Camille's goal is to attend and graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Libby is a senior, graduating with a double major in Communication and Political Science. She has absolutely loved the Political Science Department, and is so honored to have received a scholarship. Next year, Libby will be attending Colorado State University to pursue an MA in Communication. Though she is excited to continue her education at a new university, she will miss UMD and the amazing faculty in Political Science.

Dustin is a 22 year old alum, having studied Philosophy and Political Science with a minor in Psychology. His current city is Madison, Wisconsin, where he is taking a break from academia working in software testing. As a senior at Blaine High School, Kelsey wanted nothing more than to study engineering at UMD. She is currently a junior studying Spanish and Environmental Engineering. Since arriving at UMD, Kelsey has become very active in the Mock Trial program. As a member of the team she has learned a lot, made several lifelong friends, and developed a passion for law. She aspires to go to William Mitchell in the fall of 2013 to study a combination of international and intellectual property law. With a successful career, she hopes to one day be able to help students like herself achieve their educational goals.

Taylor is from Hermantown, and is currently a senior at UMD and will graduate this semester Bachelor’s of Applied Science, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Political Science. Taylor has been accepted to the University of Minnesota Law School and plans to graduate in 2015.

Eleanor Richardson

Eleanor is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. Some of her memorable experiences at UMD include studying in Ireland last summer, interning at the Public Defender's Office, holding several leadership positions in her sorority, being inducted into the Sigma Honor Society, and participating in various community service events in the Duluth area. She has enjoyed her years at UMD and is considering pursuing a career in the legal field after graduation.

Alex Hagstrom

Alex is a senior studying Political Science as a major, and Business Administration and Jazz Studies as minors. He was co-captain of the UMD Mock Trial Team, President of the Pre-Law Club, and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, UMD Guitar Ensemble, and the Student Legislative Coalition. In addition, he has served as an intern at the Douglas County District Attorney's office for the past year, and will be studying law in the fall at the University of Minnesota Law School. Alex is a very active individual, and enjoys playing most sports and being involved in any kind of competitive activity. He has been included on the Dean's List for his entire career at UMD, received numerous awards and scholarships, and will graduate with summa cum laude honors.

Chelsi Hoag
Chelsi is currently a senior with a double major in International Studies and History, and a minor in Political Science. She loves learning about other cultures in order to better understand how we relate to one another. Chelsi has had many wonderful opportunities during her time at UMD, including studying abroad in Italy and learning Mandarin Chinese. She will be graduating this semester and will continue on to graduate school this fall at Penn State University in their International Affairs program. Chelsi hopes to specialize in international relations through communication technology and social media.

Elsa is originally from Minneapolis, Minneapolis. She is graduating with a double major in Women's Studies and Political Science with a French minor. After graduating, she is going to return to Minneapolis and begin preparations for graduate school with an interest in community organizing and activism.

Heather, a native of Duluth, is a double major in International Studies and Political Science. She hopes to attend law school after she graduates with her bachelor's degree. Heather is currently in her sophomore year at UMD, and is taking this year to study abroad at the University of Worcester, in Worcester, England.

Taylor Baham
Taylor was raised in Lutsen, Minnesota, and attended Cook County High School. He was active in sports and outdoor activities. After graduation Taylor attended Lake Superior College and received an Associate’s Degree before coming to UMD. He is currently involved in Air Force ROTC. After he graduates in May of 2013, Taylor plans to commission in the U.S. Air Force and attend pilot training. Other ambitions include moving back to Northeast Minnesota, owning his own business, and possibly running for a local office..
