Not all college students are financially stable to maintain a vehicle. Professors expect three hours of homework out of class time. Practice and games seriously cut into study time.

Colleges and Universities should not include community srevice as part of their graduation requirements. More specifically University of Minnesota Duluth should not require community service as a requirement to graduate with a bachalors degree.
College students are required to attend class and do several hours of homework each night. Many are also required to work to support themselve through their education. Some also depend on sports scholarships. So they must devote 20+ hours to practice and strength training alone to meet the requirements of their scholarship. Several college students lack the posention of a vehicle because of financial hardships. Due to the reasons listed above college students are unable to volunteer as it would interfere with their studies.
We recommend that colleges require community service prior to college entrance. It could possibly be a highly recommended suggestion while in Junior High or High School.
