(prerequisite approved IS course study and instructor consent)
Definitions, history, and philosophy of interdisciplinary research, writing, learning, and teaching. Readings in major types of interdisciplinary work; preliminary methods for interdisciplinary projects.
IS 3099. SENIOR PROJECT
(prerequisite IS 3001 and instructor consent)
Enrollment restricted to interdisciplinary studies majors. An agreement that specifies the nature of the project, the amount of work, and the number of credits must be approved by two advisers and filed with the director of interdisciplinary studies.
