Personal Statement:
I am passionate about my relationships. As one of eight children in my family of origin, I have many relationships, which occupy a significant amount of my time. For outdoor activities, I enjoy all water sports and in the winter, skiing. In recent years I have been making community presentations on gender communication, the effects of divorce on children, healthy parenting, and parent-adolescent communication. I'm currently interested and reviewing research on the topic of intrapersonal communication. I think our most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves.
