Jill Hoffman

Personal Statement:
Even though Jill teaches communication, her first love is theatre. Her Master’s degree is in communication with a theatre emphasis. With this degree she not only gets to teach the public speaking and interpersonal communication courses, but also pursues directing, producing and performing in theatre here in Duluth and also in the summer in East Lansing, Michigan. Jill and her husband Rick, a medical school professor, have four children—all of them graduated from UMD.
