Personal Statement:
I have been fortunate to work at UMD for over 29 years; beginning in the former School of Social Development (now the Social Work Department), followed by the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s office and, since 1987, in the Communication Department. My motto is “have suitcase, will travel.” Places where I have recently traveled – Alaska, Aruba, Australia & New Zealand, Italy, Ixtapa, to Jamaica, St. Lucia and in April 2009 it was Costa Rica for 10 days. Pura Vida!
