Leadership Program
The UMD Commission on Women sees its mission as fostering the improvement and enrichment of the working and learning environments for UMD women by providing direction, leadership, support and expertise to the UMD community. We fulfill that mission by removing obstacles and barriers limiting or
having a negative impact on women’s academic performance, productivity, or advancement, and creating new programs, structures, and opportunities for women designed to enhance performance, productivity, and advancement. Our leadership program is just one example of our program initiatives.
