The Student Hearing Panel is UMD's formal hearing body. The panel hears cases regarding violations of the Student Conduct Code, determines responsibility, and (when relevant) determines appropriate disciplinary action.

Confidentiality Agreement

Hearing panelists are selected and trained by the Office of Student Conduct. A training retreat for current and new members is held annually. Additional training may be conducted on an as-needed basis.
