Graduate Program
The Department of Computer Science offers a Master of Science in Computer Science degree program through the auspices of the University of Minnesota Graduate School. The program was established in 1987 and has approximately 22 full-time majors each year.
The Department also offers a graduate minor in Computer Science.
Undergraduate Programs
The Department of Computer Science offers degree programs leading to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. The Computer Science program is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Approximately 150 full-time undergraduates major in CS and 30 in IS&T.
The Department also offers undergraduate minors in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, and Computer Information Systems.
