Computer Science Alum wins $275,000 in Google's Android Developer Challenge

Construction Progress on Civil Engineering Building

Construction crews are making progress with the new UMD Civil Engineering Building. The $15 million building is designed for the new Civil Engineering Program and will be an environmental "green building."

The state-of-the-art teaching/training center is designed to house large two-story labs providing "engineering on display." The building is located on the north east corner of the campus just off St Marie Street. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held July 11th.
