STUDENT PUBLISHED
Becky Gravel, senior UMD student in Physical Education, received the Mary
Lampe Scholarship from the Minnesota Association of Health, Physical Education,
Recreation and Dance. She received this scholarship based on her UROP
which consisted of writing a Handbook of Elementary Games from Minnesota
Educators. In Beckys research she
received a favorite game from practicing physical educators from around
the state of Minnesota and composed a handbook of games. The handbook
of games was then used in the UMD course PEP 1000 Teaching Games and Rhythms
and given to the MAPHER organization.
