Robert Evans, associate professor of philosophy and Richard Hudelson, associate professor of philosophy, UWS, have published an article entitled McCarthyism and Philosophy in the United States in the June, 2003 issue of Philosophy of Social Sciences. Dalibor Froncek, assistant professor, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, presented a contributed talk Vertex magic total labelings of products of graphs at the Czech-Slovak Conference GRAPHS 2003 in Javorna, Czech Republic. The talk was based on joint results achieved together with his students Petr Kovar and Tereza Kovarova. Jim Klueg, professor and art and design acting head, will have two ceramic pieces in Facets of Clay, an invitational exhibition at Macalester College, from October-December. The show is curated by Macalester ceramics professor Gary Erickson. See next issue.
