Carmen Latterell, Mathematics, and Janelle Wilson, Sociology, had their article “Popular Cultural Portrayals of Those Who Do Mathematics” published in volume 27 of the The Humanistic Mathematics Network Journal Online, Fall, 2004. Bill Tezla, professor emeritus, Department of English, has several of his translations from the short stories of Ivan Mandy and an extract from Sandor Marai’s A Memoir, 1944-1948, published in An Island of Sound: Hungarian Poetry and Fiction before and beyond the Iron Curtain, edited by (London: The Harvill Press, Random House, 2004).
