Bill Tezla, professor emeritus, Department of English, has several of his translations from the short stories of Ivan Mandy and an extract from Sandor Marais A Memoir, 1944-1948, published in An Island of Sound: Hungarian Poetry and Fiction before and beyond the Iron Curtain, edited by (London: The Harvill Press, Random House, 2004).
