CE COURSE LISTING
Continuing Education will not print the “newspaper” style preliminary course listing for Summer Term 2007. Students are encouraged to view the preliminary course listing online at www.d.umn.edu/courseinfo. Changes are updated each day. The final printed summer catalog will be available in early February 2007. Summer registration begins on March 1 and there are no queue times. May Session is May 14 - June 1 and Summer Session is June 4 - July 27. Contact Lisa Krisak Martin at 726-6193 or lmartin@d.umn.edu for more info.

RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT IN RESEARCH
Any individual submitting a grant or sponsored project proposal at the UM must complete instruction in the responsible conduct of research. The Part 1 workshop must be completed by attending a scheduled session, either in person or via interactive television. The current schedule can be found at: http://www.research.umn.edu/first/CourseSchedReg.htm. A December 8, Part 1 workshop is only available in Minneapolis. It is anticipated that a Part 1 workshop will be available at UMD sometime during spring 2007 through interactive television. Part 2 consists of three online workshops, which can be completed in any order. They are described at: http://www.research.umn.edu/first/electroniccourses.htm. This is a significant change, as previously direct attendance was required for one of the workshops. After participants complete this online instruction, they need to update their personal record through the link provided. For information contact: Steve Hedman at shedman@d.umn.edu.
