Gloria DeFilipps Brush, professor, Department of Art and Design, has work in a group invitational exhibition, arranged by Leslie Brown, curator at the Photographic Resource Center in Boston, at the 808 Gallery at Boston University from October 2-21, 2007. Professor Emeritus Leif Brush, Department of Art & Design, had his work, The soundwork w d a s a presented on the June 7, 2007 Program of the IMEB (Institut International de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges) 37th Festival International, Synthese 2007, at the Théâtre Jacques Coeur in Bourges, France. Lisa Fitzpatrick and Melissa Jokela (Viz Lab/ITSS) presented “Designing a Touchscreen Info Kiosk with Flash” at the Flashbelt Conference, Minneapolis, MN (www.flashbelt.com) June 18. This international, industry-related conference brings together Flash designers, developers and enthusiasts, such as Seb Lee-Delisle (http://www.pluginmedia.net/), GMUNK, Jeremy Thorp (http://www.blprnt.com/) and Richard Galvin from Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/flash). Donna Neveau, associate administrator at KUMD-FM radio station, recently attended the 45th Quadrennial Polish National Alliance Convention in Jersey City. Polish National Alliance is one of the largest ethnic fraternal insurance organizations in the United States. Neveau also served on the convention’s resolution committee.
