CHANCELLOR'S AWARD FOR 2009-2010
Joe Gallian, professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics,
is the recipient of the 2009-2010 Chancellor’s Award for Distinguished
Research. Faculty members who receive this award are honored for their
excellence in research, scholarly contributions to their field and for
their dedication to student research in education. Professor Gallian will
receive his award during a ceremony at 3:30 pm on Mon., Dec. 7 in 70 Montague.
Gallian will present a seminar of his current research entitled “A
Mathematics Sampler,” following the ceremony.
