Orleans Trip - Jan
14-Thank You - Jan
13 - Jan
12 - Jan
11 During January, UMD was part of 1,000 volunteers and students, the largest group ever at the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity site.
We posted pictures and/or stories every day. Click on the links above to see the entries. Student members of Phi Sigma Sigma and other UMD students helped build several new houses with Habitat for Humanity in the Muscians' Village and at other sites. (Right: Listening to orientation before splitting up on the different job sites.) The group worked at the construction site from 8 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri and sleeping on cots at Camp Hope, a former Elementary School in New Orleans.
