ABOUT UMD LOGOS Welcome to this web resource. UMD is trying to make it easy for departments and programs to use designated logos easily. It is important that you become familiar with the UMD Standards Identity Manual for help with proper usage. Please note that these logos are for use on brochures, advertising and similar uses. These are not for stationery or business cards. We tried to make sure every academic department and selected campus departments were provided with a designated logo. Other departments and programs should use the UMD logo provided on this page. If you need a logo converted to another color or format, UMD Print Services will be able to assist for a small fee. DOWNLOADABLE UMD LOGOS FOR PROFESSIONAL PRINT PROJECTS, use the EPS files. To download the Adobe Illustrator EPS files,
FOR INTERNAL/SMALL AUDIENCE PRINT PROJECTS (example: flyers, internal newsletters), use high-resolution JPEG and TIFF files. To download JPEG and TIFF files, click on the words JPEG or TIFF. Some browsers will download them; some will display the logo. If your computer displays the logo, you can either click and drag the image to your computer or right click on the image and follow the commands to save the logo on your computer. Adobe Photoshop may be used to open the JPEG and TIFF files. The logos can also be saved and placed in documents WITHOUT opening.
