Services provided:Minnesota Sea Grant facilitates interaction among the public and scientists to enhance communities, the environment, and economies along Lake Superior and Minnesota's inland waters by identifying information needs, fostering research, and communicating results. Our programs focus on aquatic invasive species, aquaculture, biotechnology, sustainable coastal communities, and the Lake Superior ecosystem. Our vision is to foster citizens who use a science-based understanding of the environment to address issues concerning Lake Superior and Minnesota's aquatic resources and associated economies.
