The College of Education and Human Service Professions
The College of Education and Human Service Professions (CEHSP)

Education; Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health, Physical
Education & Recreation; Psychology; Social Work. In addition
there are offices dedicated to service: American Indian Learning

human service agencies); Instructional Development Service (teaching
the teachers for the students) and the American Indian Projects.
During the spring 2003 commencement ceremonies, UMD graduated
the largest American Indian teacher education group in the history
of Minnesota. It was also the first class in Minnesota history
to graduate with a teaching minor in an indigenous language, Ojibwe.
