Campus Wide Giving
The University of Minnesota Duluth has many giving opportunities that benefit the entire campus, rather than a specific collegiate unit. Below are a few examples:
Chancellor's Scholars Fund - Fund 4092
Gifts will provide scholarships to UMD and transfer students based on academic standing, merit and/or potential.
Alumni Association Scholarship - Fund 1138
The UMD Alumni Scholarship is the first that gives back specifically to children and grandchildren of UMD alumni. The scholarship provides the selected UMD sophomores, juniors and seniors outreach opportunities as well as financial support. It encourages and fosters leadership. All gifts are matched by a UMD Alumnus.
Diversity/Minority
There are a variety of scholarships established to support a diverse student body. For more information, please click here or contact Tricia Bunten.
Excellence Fund - Fund 1773
Unrestricted gifts will be used to support campus-wide priorities and special needs.
Library Fund - Fund 2030
Gifts will support the acquisition of important books, periodicals, references and the most up-to-date materials for UMD students, faculty, and community patrons.
Ben & Jeanne Overman Distinguished Speakers Series - Fund 5329
