When you’re flipping burgers, BBQing chicken, or grilling hot dogs, always think safety first! Check the temperatures of your meats before serving to prevent food borne illness. No one wants a tummy ache on a holiday!

Poultry (chicken, turkey, duck, and goose) needs to reach an internal temperature of 165F. Ground beef (hamburger and meatloaf) needs to reach an internal temperature of 160F. Pork (ham) and fish need to reach an internal temperature of 145F. Meat thermometers are sold in most grocery stores. Throw one in you cart on your next shopping trip.
