1. Liberal education electives chosen to meet UMD campus requirements,
as expanded by the ECE program to include 16 credits minimum in Humanities
and Social Sciences, and coverage of topics in both breadth and depth
2.
Engineering breadth elective (3 credits): choose one of the specified
two courses
3 ECE technical electives (6 credits): choose any two of the courses
listed. Any one of the four courses listed in the "...for Applied Math
Minor" section completes the requirements for the Applied Math Minor when
combined with other Math/Stat courses required in the ECE major.
4. The following 4XXX
courses were changed and revised for inclusion in the MSECE program. 4151
to 5151, 4315 to 5315, 4477 to 5477, 4741 to 5741, 4801 to 5801, 4813
to 5813, 4831 to 5831, and 4995 to 5995. 5XXX courses are open to both
undergraduate and first year graduate students. New numbers and course
descriptions effective Spring 2003.
