- Liberal education electives chosen to meet
UMD campus requirements.
- Engineering breadth elective (3 credits):
choose one of the specified five courses (effective Spring 2009); Engr
2105 is required before Spring semester 2009.
- ECE technical electives (9 credits): Electives
must include at least one of the following courses: ECE 4305, ECE 5315.
Electives may not include ECE 4899/4999, or ECE 4951. Any one of the
four courses listed in the "...for Applied Math Minor" section
completes the requirements for the Applied Mathematics Minor when combined
with other Math/Stat courses required in the ECE major. Effective Spring
2008, the "Applied Mathematics" Minor no longer exists. ECE
students need to take one additional 3xxx level (or above) math course
to earn a "Mathematics" Minor.
