Application Deadlines for the Department of Education

Undergraduate Deadlines

• Student Teaching applications - due the fourth Friday of each semester, for the following semester.
• Department of Education Program applications - due the sixth Friday of each semester, for the following semester.

Applications for Spring 2009 are due at 4 p.m. in 120 Montague Hall on these dates:

• September 26, 2008 (the fourth Friday of the semester) for Student Teaching Applications
• October 10, 2008 (the sixth Friday of the semester) for Program ("Blocks") Applications:
  • United Early Childhood Program Application
  • Elementary Education Program Application
  • Secondary Education Program Application
  • Special Education Program Application

Applications for Fall 2009 are due at 4 p.m. in 120 Montague Hall on these dates:

• February 13, 2009 (the fourth Friday of the semester) for Student Teaching Applications
• February 27, 2009 (the sixth Friday of the semester) for Program ("Blocks") Applications:
  • United Early Childhood Program Application
  • Elementary Education Program Application
  • Secondary Education Program Application
  • Special Education Program Application

Doctoral Program Deadline

• February 13, 2009 is the next deadline for applying to the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) Program. This will be Cohort 2, which starts in July 2009.
