Chart of Accounts (EFS) Refresher

Course Description

This tutorial provides a review of the new University Financial System's Chart of Accounts (EFS) structure and the importance it plays in the financial well-being of the University. Participants will understand the importance of the ChartFields and how to select the appropriate codes to complete the account string. This course is designed as a review for those who have attended the classroom Chart of Accounts session, but will also be helpful to faculty and departmental administrators to gain a basic understanding of the new Chart of Accounts structure. Through self paced exercises, participants will have a chance to practice the concepts learned using the Chart of Accounts (EFS) manual (pdf).
