Safety and Emergency Preparedness Training Registration


Registration for all UMD Safety and Emergency preparedness-related training classes is now offered through ULearn

How to register for safety related trainings in Ulearn?

There are two different ways to self enroll for training classes Through ULearn, depending on your role at the University.

1.  University employees, including student employees
  • Make sure pop-up blockers are disabled in your browser.
  • Sign in to ULearn with your U of M internet ID and password.
  • look for "Health and Safety" Under browse for training on the right side of the screen. Click the (+) button next to it to open the drop down menu, then
  • Click on "UMD EHSO Safety" then
  • Select the required training, then click "Launch" to start the training or register to register for the training.
2.  Non-Employees, students, guest researchers, or volunteers (with a U of M internet
     accounts) need to create an account in ULearn in order to login and
register for
     desired classes.

  • Make sure pop-up blockers are disabled in your browser.
  • Go to https://umn.csod.com/selfreg/register.aspx?c=trngsvcs and follow instructions to create a self-registration account
  • Sign in to ULearn  with the email address and password you used to create your account.
  • Follow instruction as above then select the title of the course you wish to take, then click "Launch" to start the training
To document or self-report any external, or research-specific training to ULearn
