UMD Department of Composition and Department of English
Four programs in the Departments of Composition and English offer credit for internships at area businesses and organizations.
The Internship in Information Design is available to any eligible student who is minoring in Information Design in the UMD Department of Composition.
The Internship in Journalism is available to any eligible student who is minoring in Journalism in the UMD Department of Composition.
The Internship in Professional Writing is available to any eligible student who is minoring in Professional Writing and Communication in the UMD Department of Composition.
The Internship in Publishing is available to any eligible student in the UMD English B.A. and M.A. programs with interest in Publishing & Print Culture.
