New Diversity Training

Prevention of Sexual Harassment
Tuesday, November 25,2008

Who may attend: Faculty, Staff, and Students

Presenter: Deborah Petersen-Perlman, Director of UMD Office of Equal Opportunity

Participants will review the University of Minnesota Sexual Harassment policy, federal and state law regarding sexual harassment, procedures for investigating sexual harassment complaints, and standards applied to evaluation of sexual harassment claims.

Participants will be asked to analyze scenes from the film North Country using the standards learned in the first half of the workshop.
