The organizers say it is the funniest musical event of the season...even the year! The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and Allied Commission at UMD presents the Super Gay Cabaret, a series of musical theater songs.

The performance will be held in the Marshall Performing Arts Center at the University of Minnesota Duluth campus, 1215 Ordean Court, Duluth, MN 55812. Shows are scheduled for 7:30 pm on Thurs., February 27 and Fri., February 28. With this show, the GLBTQA Commission seeks to make itself known to the UMD community and beyond to promote acceptance of sexually dissident people.

"This show deconstructs gender, makes us think critically about the queer role in entertainment, and pokes fun of all groups to realize that we are all simply human," said Samantha Mundy, one of the student organizers. "It's a pee-your-pants-funny extravaganza that celebrates sexual identity and gender expression. It celebrates diversity!"
