Grad Fair Sets the Stage

Celebrate these big accomplishments at the two commencement ceremonies held on Sat. May 7, 2016 at the DECC in downtown Duluth.  
After years of hard work, on May 7, UMD students are going to earn their degrees. It's an important milestone.

Proud family, friends, faculty, and staff will celebrate with the graduates and cheer them on.

Right now on the UMD campus, UMD stores is front and center helping graduates choose their cap, gown, and academic regalia.

At the UMD Grad Fair, students leave the stress of the final semester, celebrate, and prepare for their big day .

Grad Fair
The Grad Fair, held on Thurs. March 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kirby Ballroom, provides necessary and helpful information to make sure students are prepared to walk across the stage come May. There will be discounts on caps and gowns, giveaways, and vendors.

Commencement
All commencement ceremonies will be held on Sat. May 7, 2016 at the DECC. There are no guest tickets required. Doctoral, graduate and undergraduate ceremonies are combined.

Two Programs
10 am: Doctoral, graduate, and undergraduates candidates from the College of Education and Human Service Professions (CEHSP), the School of Fine Arts (SFA) and the College of Liberal Arts (CLA)

3 pm: Doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate candidates from the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) and the Swenson College of Science and Engineering (SCSE)
