LSBE Student Showcase Event

Join the Labovitz School of Business and Economics (LSBE) students, faculty, and staff downtown for its Student Showcase, which highlights LSBE students’ real-world application of their studies. This year’s event precedes the Joel Labovitz Entrepreneurial Success Awards. The showcase will take place on Wednesday, April 20, from 10:30 -11:20 am at the DECC Harbor Side Ballroom Lobby. This event is free and open to the public.

You’ll meet some of LSBE’s best and brightest students and hear about their projects applicable to today’s real world business environment. You’ll also find out the latest news about what’s happening at the School and learn about LSBE’s specialized programs and how they can apply to your business:

  • Financial Markets
  • Financial Planning
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Health Care Management
  • Marketing/Graphic Design
  • Retail Marketing Analytics
  • Student to Business Initiative

The Joel Labovitz Entrepreneurial Success Awards immediately follow the LSBE Showcase at 11:30 a.m. in the Harbor side ballroom. Cost is $25.00 per person. More details can be found under Centers on LSBE’s website, lsbe.d.umn.edu.

The Labovitz School of Business and Economics, at the University of Minnesota Duluth, is accredited by the AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). Less than 5% of business schools worldwide have earned this prestigious distinction. In Northeastern Minnesota, LSBE is the only school to have attained AACSB accreditation. Its website is lsbe.d.umn.edu.
