Community Music Lessons are available
on most instruments and voice and consist of fifteen
weeks of private instruction. Lessons are generally
30-minutes in length but 45 and 60-minute lessons are
also available. Students may begin lessons after week
one contingent upon permission and availability of the
instructor. Tuition is pro-rated to reflect the number
of lessons a student will receive.
New students should contact the Academy

We ask that students contact their
instructor 24 hours prior to cancelling a lesson. Makeup
lessons are limited, are arranged and determined by
the instructor.
A tiered faculty system allows you
to choose an instructor that suits your musical needs
with an average tuition rate at $17.50 per 30-minute
lesson. Apprentice instructors and UMD Music Professors
may be available upon request. Tuition is set accordingly.
All fees are payable in advance and non-refundable.
