Masters Degree and Professional Standards
Qualitative Standard: Grade Point Average (GPA)
• If you are a graduate or professional student, you must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 for your entire period of enrollment.
• If your program requires a higher cumulative GPA, the higher requirement will be used to determine SAP financial aid eligibility.
• Your GPA will be reviewed at the end of each term.
Quantitative Standard
• You must complete your degree or certificate within seven calendar years of your program admission date.
• If you are unable to complete your degree or certificate within this timeframe, you may file a Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal form to be considered for an extension.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for pharmacy students is monitored by the College of Pharmacy, Duluth.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for medical students is monitored by the Medical School, Duluth Campus.
