Distance Learning Courses

Financial aid eligibility for telecommunication or correspondence courses varies and is determined by the type and length of the coursework.

Correspondence or online courses that are term-based and run for the full length of a semester are generally eligible for aid. These classes are listed in the class schedule as "Instruction Mode: Term Based Distance Ed Online Course".

Courses that run for an extended term, such as courses that allow nine months for completion, are not eligible for financial aid. Extended term courses are noted in the online class schedule as "Instruction Mode: Extended Term Distance Education Course." or "Extended Term Distance Education Online Course."

If you have questions on course eligibility for financial aid, please contact One Stop Student Services.
